Morning BIA Folks,
We've been working on our Community Celebration events that will take place in our BIA during the FIFA matches in Toronto. Attached is the poster listing all activities for the tournament's first two days. In addition to these events, we will also have bands playing in our two BIA CafeTO parkettes on each Toronto match day. The selected bands will represent the countries playing in that day's match.
One event component is a Support Local To Win contest. We will launch this contest on Saturday, June 13 and run it through Thursday, July 2 - the last match day in Toronto.
There is NO Charge for our members to participate and this contest is open to all members - retail, restaurants, and service providers. At the end of the contest winners will receive Broadview Danforth dollars to spend in our BIA along with some select FIFA merchandise. If you would like to donate a prize to promote your business that would be great!
Here's an overview of this contest:
- The contest is a fun and exciting way to reward customer loyalty and is free to participate in.
- Businesses will get a 5x7 personalized contest card that customers can scan or tap with their phones to enter the contest.
- Businesses will also get window clings for their location to let customers know that they can earn entries for supporting you.
- Customers use their cell phone to accumulate entries for the contest.
- At the end of the contest on July 2 there will be a draw where customers will win Broadview Danforth Dollars to spend in the neighborhood as well as other prizes.
- There will be options to get a list of customers who shopped and scanned in your business.
Because the scan cards will be specific to your business, you need to let me know if you want to participate. Please confirm your participation by next Wednesday, May 20.
