Good Afternoon All, We have received a notice from the TTC that they will be closing Line 2 from St. George to Woodbine this Saturday, Oct. 13 and Sunday, Oct. 14th. I know this is the holiday weekend and horrible timing for a subway closure. Councillor Fletcher and I have asked the TTC to reschedule the closure but to no avail. Good Afternoon All, I just received a revised schedule for a tv shoot taking place in our area this week. The shoot will actually take place inside Eastminster Church however the production company will be using certain street areas for their vehicles. The City is currently looking at ways to reduce single-use and takeaway items in Toronto. This includes public consultation on what items to target and what approaches to take. It also supports the Waste Strategy’s recommendation to explore the City’s ability, including restrictions, bans or fees, to achieve greater waste reduction and diversion.
