Good Afternoon All BIA Members, Two weeks ago we were informed by the City and TTC that we will be undergoing a fairly major, multi-component construction project that will affect Broadview north and south of the Danforth and our section of the Danforth. The upcoming Greek Independence Parade is scheduled for next Sunday, March 26. As you may know from previous parades, the Danforth will be closed to traffic from Donlands to Broadview from approximately 11am to 4pm. The actual parade will run from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. We will post a notice on our social media and you may want to make sure that your customers know as well. I will also send a reminder out to you all later in the week.

The portal to apply is scheduled to open next Wednesday, March 1/23. Applications will be reviewed on a first come - first served basis until the funds are all allocated. I know that this grant is very popular so if you or your property owner is interested in applying I would recommend…

Happy Valentine's Day BIA Members, This year the Broadview Danforth BIA celebrated Valentine’s Day a little early. This past Friday, Feb, 10th, we participated in our local Out of The Cold Dinner which is hosted every Friday throughout the winter at the Eastminster Church (Danforth & Jackman). To show some love for those in need in our community we were able to organize the donation of 80 litres of soup. The Out of The Cold program in our BIA serves…

Good Afternoon All, We seem to be in a pre-xmas cycle of covid infections - I've heard from some of you that staff are home sick. I thought it would be helpful to send you the link for the government paid 3 day sick leave program. This program has been extended to March 31, 2023. The link below provides a lot of information including how employers get reimbursed. So please take a few minutes when you can to read through…

Hi All, If any of you have food and/or toy donations for our event tomorrow but are too swamped to get the donations over to the Carrot Common courtyard where the police cruiser will be located PLEASE let me know. I have 4 lovely teenagers volunteering tomorrow and can certainly send them to you to do a pick-up. I just ask that you let me know today if you need a pick-up so I have a list for tomorrow. Thanks,Susan
