Join the Broadview Danforth BIA on June 12 and 13 for outdoor match-day fun, live music, family-friendly activities, local performances, and a special viewing party for Canada’s opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The celebration continues through July 2 with musicians performing in CafeTO parkettes across the neighbourhood, representing cultures and countries from around the world. Come cheer, explore, dance, eat, shop, and experience the incredible mix of global sounds, local businesses, and community spirit that make Broadview Danforth feel like the world in one neighbourhood.

Saturday's Holiday Event & CEBA Request

Good Afternoon Folks,

I wanted to remind you that we have our 2nd Holiday event this coming Saturday, Dec. 9 from noon to 3pm. Last Saturday's event went really well and I have no doubt that people will enjoy what we have to offer this Saturday:

3 sets of carollers: Broadview north, Broadview south, and Danforth
Ori Dagan and his band will be performing in the courtyard of the Carrot Common; Santa will be there as well; along with hot chocolate samples; and our 55 Division police team will be on site to do our Cram-A-Cruiser for needy families in the area. Food and toy donations are most welcome.
Face painting, balloon twisters and hot chocolate samples will be on site at Small Wonders and Midoco.

Once again I'm attaching the files for social media posts. It would be so amazing and really appreciated if everyone could lend a hand and post this to your social media. You can use this event and your posts as an opportunity to invite people to come to our BIA, enjoy the activities and then stop into your business - promote your shopping, dining, gift certificates - whatever is important to you to promote this holiday season.

CEBA Extension Email to the Federal Government:

Earlier this week you were all included in the email that I sent to Minister Freeland, Minister Valdez and our MP Dabrusin. We have now circulated it to the media and are getting some interest. I will keep you updated on media coverage as it becomes available. I've attached a copy of the email in case you missed it previously.
