It's that time!!!!!!! The holiday season is ramping up and we have some plans to make it merry and bright!
Planter Decorations:
- Once again Bruno and his wonderful team at our Fresh Florals will be decorating our planters and cedars along Broadview and Danforth. Work has started and should be completed soon.
- During our last event in September we ran a contest for all shoppers who spent $10 or more or posted a Google review for their favourite BIA business. We only ran it for the one day that the event took place and we were overwhelmed by the positive response from consumers. So many people entered and the prizes were amazing.
- So we're bringing it back for the Holidays and extending it from one day to a full week: Saturday, Dec. 7 through Sat. Dec. 14/24. We will have posters and social media files so you can help promote it to your customers.
- Prizes: I'm currently organizing prizes for this contest. If you would like to donate a prize that would be awesome - please just email me and let me know. Winners will be announced on Mon. Dec. 16 so they can claim their prizes before Xmas.
- Jingle All The Way To the Broadview Danforth BIA will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 (last day of the Shopping Contest) from 11am to 2pm.
- We will have strolling carollers in both our Broadview and Danforth BIA sections.
- Thanks to the Carrot Common for allowing us to set up in their courtyard for visits with Santa, hot chocolate samples, and Sullivan-Parker-Kettlewell performing A Charlie Brown Christmas Live! Along with the Children's Choir!
- This would be a great day to plan to do something special in your business - perhaps a one day sale, or gift with purchase, or refreshments. If this is something you decide to do please let me know so we can add it to the holiday promotions.
- Once again we have partnered with our Division 55 Police to host their annual Cram A Cruiser donation program.
- Our 55 Division officers will distribute all of the donations of food and toys to needy families within the 55 Division catchment.
- The cruisers will be in our BIA from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, Dec. 14. Locations to be announced shortly.
