Good Afternoon Broadview Danforth Members,
Once again another production will be filming next week at the Eastminster Church (Danforth & Jackman). Attached is the notice that should be directly circulated by the production company to those members in the affected area.
I know that many of you have reached out to me to express your frustration with the numerous productions filming at the church and taking up parking in the area. It is the Toronto Film Office who approves all shoots that take place in the City. I receive notifications - sometimes very last minute - and at that point I negotiate with the film office to reduce the footprint that is being used by the production.
For this shoot taking place June 9 - June 11 I did have advance notice and originally this shoot had a very extensive footprint - we have been able to get it down to what is included in the attached notice.
l have relayed your frustrations to both the Film Office and to our BIA Board Members. Your BIA Board will be meeting with the Eastminster staff to discuss this issue.
