Happy Official Summer Folks!
We're all set to welcome Summer 2019 to our fabulous Broadview Danforth BIA tomorrow night with our 10th Anniversary Thrill of the Grill Summer Soiree. The menu is fabulous, the live music will have you singing and dancing, there's a special 10th Anniversary cocktail and a very special cake creation, mystery bags, a silent auction, and just a whole lot of fun from 6pm to 10pm. The Danforth Music Hall also has 2 sold-out shows happening tomorrow night - we are going to be one hopping, busy BIA!
As a reminder - here's the road closure schedule for tomorrow (Saturday):
- 2pm: we will start setting up the various grill stations in front of the participating businesses (on the sidewalk)
- 3pm: Danforth will be closed to traffic from Broadview to Playter
- 6pm - 10pm: Thrill will take place
- 10pm - Midnight: Clean-up
- Midnight: Danforth open to traffic
PLEASE NOTE: our fencing will be stacked over night on the sidewalks and will be removed first thing Sunday morning. We're sharing our fencing with the Pride team and the fencing will cross the bridge over to the Pride parade early Sunday morning. This will happen long before any of you are open for Sunday hours. It's a really busy event weekend in the City so we've all collaborated to help each other out where we can.
