Beginning on Tuesday, October 29th we will be partnering with the City’s Digital Main Street team to help your businesses with their digital components. We realize the importance of having an online presence in this day and age and feel that the combination of the Digital Main Street platform and Digital Service Squad can help each of you with this. Some of our businesses are very digitally savvy but some have expressed the desire for extra training and guidance.
The Digital Main Street team will help you take your business digital, and help you with various tools and technologies. The best part is, there is absolutely no cost to you as a business. The primary role of the DSS (Digital Service Squad) is to help you with your online platform and assess your digital needs. The DSS can also help you gain a basic web presence, or enhance your existing web presence by helping you activate easy-to-use tools such as 360 pictures for free, Google My Business, social media, or setting-up a free trial of an e-commerce shop (through Shopify). The DSS can also provide guidance, resources and recommendations on how businesses can progress digitally. The DSS is focused on assisting your businesses with their digital goals.
So on Tuesday October 29th from noon to 2pm I will be joining the DSS reps and we will be popping into your businesses to make introductions. The Digital Service Squad will be with us for 4 weeks. Throughout that time you will be able to set up meetings with them to discuss your needs, ask questions, receive hands on training. As the business owner or main manager, if you are not available on Tuesday between noon and 2pm, we will leave direct contact information with your staff so you can contact us and set up a convenient time to meet.
