Join the Broadview Danforth BIA on June 12 and 13 for outdoor match-day fun, live music, family-friendly activities, local performances, and a special viewing party for Canada’s opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The celebration continues through July 2 with musicians performing in CafeTO parkettes across the neighbourhood, representing cultures and countries from around the world. Come cheer, explore, dance, eat, shop, and experience the incredible mix of global sounds, local businesses, and community spirit that make Broadview Danforth feel like the world in one neighbourhood.

Bloor Viaduct Bridge Closed for Santa Claus Parade

Good Afternoon All,

I've just contacted the City's events department and have confirmed that the Bloor Viaduct Bridge will be closed to traffic this Sunday, November 17th from 7am to around 2:30pm. The Santa Claus Parade has a new starting point this year - it will begin at Parliament and Bloor East. Our bridge will be used for staging the floats etc. So for those who want a bit of a behind the scenes look - this should be fun. Broadview will be open to traffic but there will no access to Bloor Street from the DVP.

We will promote this closure on our BIA social media platforms on Saturday and Sunday but it would help if those of you who are open on Sunday also post reminders for your customers.
