Please Help Spread this Message....

Hi All,

Yesterday Councillor Fletcher asked if we (our BIA)  could assist in creating a "Don't Turn Out The Lights" campaign.  She was able to bring in some expert help in creating this and now....... I need your help to get all of this out.  TABIA has also sent this to every BIA in the City of Toronto and has asked them to do the same.  Altogether, the City has 83+ BIAs.

This is a public awareness and, to be honest, pressure campaign to heighten attention to the issues facing commercial tenants and landlords.

Here's what we have for you to use:

1. Key Messaging on the rent issue - this can be used in whatever way you feel is best for you - posts on websites, send to your media contacts etc.

2. Social Media Posts:

- We have created a one page sheet that details who to tag and draft copy - you can edit the copy to best suit your needs but this at least provides you with a base copy.

- Attached are 3 social media graphic files: Instagram, FaceBook and Twitter

3. Printable Graphic Page:

- Attached is a file that has the graphic - 2 up on the page so that when it's photocopied it can be cut.  The idea was that restaurants in each BIA who are doing delivery/take-out could have a supply of these and they could be attached to the delivery order.  We were able to make some copies this afternoon so please let me know if you'd like some and we will get them to you.

Thanks so much for helping to do the above.  If you have any questions or problems doing the posts let us know - between Eszter and I we can help.

Susan
