For the past several weeks we've been working on a holiday partnership with radio station 680News. You may remember that we've partnered with them in previous years to promote our summer Thrill of the Grill event. Their listener demographics are very much in line with our BIA consumer demographics.
Because of our long relationship with them, they wanted to do something to try and help our BIA businesses during this extremely challenging holiday season. So they decided that their corporate holiday gift to all of their Rogers tv, radio and digital media clients would be our Broadview Danforth gift certificates. This week they ran a listener on-line contest and gave away 5 certificates each valued at $100.00. The corporate gift certificates for their clients are each valued at $50.00. Copies of what these certificates look like have been emailed to you - the printed copies are all numbered in red font on the side. Please ensure that your staff members know about this promotion and accept these certificates as cash. It will work the same as with our past certificates: you accept them as cash, you notify me via email when you have them, and I come and exchange the certificates for actual cash.
In addition to the certificate gifting program, we have created a radio commercial promoting shopping in our BIA. This will start airing on 680News on Monday and run for the next 3 weeks leading up to Christmas. See below for the attached copy of the commercial so you can take a listen.
As a reminder, we still have our Thrill of the Chill fall certificates circulating - these are the $5.00 ones. Please continue to accept them as well.
