REMINDER: BIA SIDEWALK SALE THIS SATURDAY - May 11

Good Afternoon BIA Members,

I wanted to remind you that we're hosting a Sidewalk Sale this coming Saturday, May 11/24 from noon to 3pm as part of our Tunes 'n Blooms event.

In addition to the sidewalk sale we will also have the following:
  • 5 outdoor bands playing in front of the following locations:
  1. Der Dietemann Antiques, 747 Broadview Ave.
  2. Kitchenette, 791 Broadview Ave.
  3. Black Swan, 154 Danforth Ave.
  4. iPro Realty, 276 Danforth Ave.
  5. Carrot Common Courtyard
  • We will be doing BIA gift certificate giveaways at each band location.  A reference copy of the gift certificate has been emailed to you.  We've used these before but as a reminder - please accept them as cash and just email me when you have some and I will come and exchange them for actual cash.
  • We will also have a Face Painting set-up outside Der Dietemann Antiques, 747 Broadview; a balloon twister outside The Danforth Art Studio/4CCats Studio - 270 Danforth Ave and at the Carrot Common Courtyard
  • We will have 3 superheroes - Wolverine, DeadPool and Spiderman strolling our full BIA greeting people AND popping into your businesses to say hi and take photos.  The Superheroes will start at Kitchenette, 791 Broadview Ave.
The Sidewalk Sale is the perfect opportunity to promote your business while all of these other activities are happening:
  • NO application or special fees required
  • Set-up a table in front of your business for sales or promotions
  • Tables must not block doorways; 2.1 meters sidewalk clearance must be maintained
  •  Sidewalk sales can take place from Noon to 3pm on Saturday, May 11/24
  • You will have to ensure the area in front of your business is clean and tidy after the sale
  • Restaurants, bakeries, butcher, cafes – you are allowed to sample or sell food/beverages. It must be food/beverages that you sell in your business.
Please help promote this event on your social media and include your participation.  Attached once again are prepared social media files for you to use.

Looking forward to Saturday!

Susan
