Join the Broadview Danforth BIA on June 12 and 13 for outdoor match-day fun, live music, family-friendly activities, local performances, and a special viewing party for Canada’s opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The celebration continues through July 2 with musicians performing in CafeTO parkettes across the neighbourhood, representing cultures and countries from around the world. Come cheer, explore, dance, eat, shop, and experience the incredible mix of global sounds, local businesses, and community spirit that make Broadview Danforth feel like the world in one neighbourhood.

Upcoming TTC Closures, Late Starts & Station Work

Good Morning Broadview Danforth BIA Members,

I have a few TTC service notices to share with you starting this Sunday, June 1st with a late subway start; line 2 subway closure the following weekend June 7 & 8; and escalator construction at our Broadview Station. Full details are listed below:

Subway Opening Late Next Sunday Between Chester & St George
Subway service on Line 2 between St George and Chester stations will be replaced by shuttle buses between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 1st for planned track work.

Subway Closed Between St George & Woodbine June 7th & 8th
There will be no subway service on Line 2 between St George and Woodbine stations on Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th to accommodate planned track work. Shuttle buses will replace subway service during this time.

Upcoming Broadview Station Escalator Work
The TTC will be replacing a 47 year-old escalator at the main entrance of Broadview Station.
Work will begin as early as June 1st and is expected to finish by late 2025. The initial activities will include crews installing hoarding to allow escalator replacement work to safely be conducted during the daytime.

All other escalators, elevators and stairs at Broadview Station will be maintained during this work.
