Good Morning Broadview Danforth BIA Members,

 

And just like that.... we've survived another winter and now it's time to bring back the music to our lovely BIA.  Tonight (Thursday, June 5), we launch our 4th Annual BD Beats Summer Music Series.

 

BD Beats will run from now through to Sunday, August 31 (Labour Day weekend) with bands playing every Thursday and Friday nights from 6pm to 9pm on the CafeTO patios located in front of Papyrus Restaurant between Bowden and Hampton Aves, and on the SideBar Restaurant patio and Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm in the Carrot Common courtyard. 

 

This BD Beats program is a large endeavour with almost 300 musicians playing throughout the 3 months.  I want to extend a huge thanks to Jane (Noonan's owner) and Mandy (Epochal Imp) for taking on the task of scheduling the bands.  I also want to thank our sponsors who generously help support the series: Choice Properties (a division of Loblaws/No Frills), The Carrot Common and Quality Optical.  All of our sponsors are part of our BIA.

 

We're running a marketing campaign with Rogers Media for the full 3 months - attached is the commercial; and will be promoting the series weekly on our Social Media platforms.  The full schedule of bands is now listed on our website.

 

As members of our BIA you can also help promote this series via your own social media platforms.  Encourage your customers to come out and shop, dine and enjoy the amazing Toronto musicians that will be playing.  To help you do this I've attached 3 files that have been created just for social media use.
