As you know, last week our Broadview Danforth BIA took the lead in creating a survey for both commercial tenants and landlords to see where everyone is currently at in terms of rent payments. I would like to thank our Board Treasurer, Philip Kocev (iPro Realty) for taking the lead in creating the survey and managing to compile all of the results received - there have been some very long hours of work put into this. We ended the survey this morning at 10am. We provided the survey to TABIA (Toronto Association of BIAs) and they were able to circulate it to all BIAs in Toronto.
Attached are the results for both the commercial tenant survey and the landlord survey. In total 698 people filled in the survey from across the City.
Julie, Peter and Paula - the results show just how dire the rent situation is for our businesses and landlords.
